Spells like Paralyzation
and Weaken are considered attacks that can be reported. However, the target
can still have full hit points after these spells are cast. How will this
work?
"Full health" is defined as
having full hit points and not being under the effect of any spells that
have adverse effects (paralyzation, weaken, etc.)
How will field spells
work in the new system?
Casting a field spell will
flag you as Criminal if the field ends up damaging an Innocent who steps
into it. Casting a field spell directly on an Innocent will flag you as
a Criminal and an Aggressor and will allow the Innocent to report you if
they die.
How will Blade Spirits
work in the new system?
Casting Blade Spirits is considered
a normal attack. So, if it damages an Innocent, you will be flagged as
both Aggressor and Criminal. If the Innocent dies, he can report you. If
the Blade Spirit damages a Criminal or Murderer you are flagged as an Aggressor
to the character you damaged.
How will Energy Vortex
work in the new system?
Casting Energy Vortex is considered
a normal attack. So, if it damages an Innocent, you will be flagged as
both Aggressor and Criminal. If the Innocent dies, he can report you. If
the Energy Vortex damages a Criminal or Murderer you are flagged as an
Aggressor to the character you damaged but they cannot report you.
How will area effect
spells like Earthquake work?
Good players will have to
be careful with all mass damage spells, as they do now. Fortunately, one
improvement of the new system is that it allows victims to be a bit more
forgiving.
Will Incognito temporarily
remove the Criminal, Aggressor or Murderer flags? Will it affect targeting?
No, Incognito will not have
any effect on flags or color-highlighting.
What happens if I cast
healing or other "good" spells on a Criminal?
You will be flagged as a Criminal
and lose karma.
What happens if I resurrect
a Criminal or Murderer?
You will be flagged as a Criminal
and lose karma.
Will casting Wall of
Stone flag me as a Criminal?
No
Why does casting Summon
Daemon lower Karma?
The justification is 100%
for role-playing. The citizens of Britannia are afraid of Daemons. Thus
they also fear those who summon them. A good mage would not participate
in an activity that spreads fear into the world.
How has the polymorph
spell changed?
If you polymorph into a non-human
form (i.e a daemon), you will turn GREY to
other players, and can be attacked without penalty. (Murderers will still
remain red)
