Are there plans to add features
to Friends Notification so that my friends can loot my corpse without flagging
them as Criminals?

No
Suppose I walk into a clearing
and see a corpse. How do I know if I can safely loot it?
The name of a corpse will
be colored the same way the name of the player was to you when he died.
(gray if Criminal, red if Murderer, etc.)
Exactly what action will
flag me as a Criminal for looting?
You will be flagged as soon
as you attempt to drag any item within the corpse, regardless of where
the item ends up.
Will I be able to chop up
a corpse in order to avoid being flagged as a Looter?
Chopping a corpse will flag
you a criminal under the same circumstances that looting that corpse would
flag you a criminal. If the corpse appears blue to you, don't chop it up.
This recent change was made to allow bounty hunters to take the head of
the person they killed.
How long will a corpse keep
its Aggressor, Criminal and/or Murderer flags?
Until it decays.
Will I be able to set an
option that allows my corpse to be looted without flagging the looter?
No.
